The company set up a research and testing center for raw materials based on screening plant of GREE electric.It is responsible for raw material development and verification, cooperate with suppliers on raw material research and improvement projects.With the introduction of advanced testing instruments and equipment at home and abroad, the center can independently complete the testing and verification of all key raw materials entering the factory. The main advanced detection equipments are like RoHS tester, metallographic microscope, projection measuring instrument, metal film tester (50 point and element method), and 6 road test aluminum foil tester, trace moisture tester etc.

Gree Xinyuan established a testing laboratory of raw material and product performance. The laboratory was upgraded in October 2016 and officially renamed as the testing center. The test center covers an area of about 667 ㎡, with a total of 10 functional areas, which can accommodate about 170 sets of test facility and testing instruments.Detection and test equipment of precision instruments including high precision detection of microscopic particles (such as ion chromatograph), company independent R&D AC durability test power of film capacitor and charging and discharging test equipment of spot welding capacitor etc. The test project covers standard test items of film capacitor, aluminum electrolytic capacitor and semiconductor intelligent power module products and also has the ability to detect and analyze them. 2020,the test center was approved by CNAS accrediting body.
